Aventa offers alternative programs for students needing alternative school hours, adjusted reading levels, seat time hours and course portion credits. Contact us for more information on any of the following programs:
- Twilight Program: Teachers can add a shift and offer online high school courses after hours to students who need alternative school hours. This option is available to those needing high school or credit recovery courses.
- Lower Reading Level: Our foundations and credit recovery courses are now offered in easier-to-read formats for lower-level readers. This program is available in both foundations and credit recovery courses.
- Absence Recovery Program: Do you have students that passed the course but did not meet their seat time requirement? We can arrange for them to take the course for the time they need to meet seat time requirements. Available to students in credit recovery courses with no drop penalties.
- Suspension Coverage: Students have the option to take a portion of their courses during suspension, and go back to regular classes with credits for the portion they missed. Available to students in credit recovery courses with no drop penalties.
- Education Continuity Programs: Should you need to close school for inclement weather, flooding, fires or even flu, we can provide an online education continuity plan as an "insurance policy." Available to schools who need core middle school and high school classes for short periods of time.
