No matter where you or your staff are on the spectrum of delivering a high-quality online educational experience, Aventa is prepared to educate you. We apply the same rigor and experience to educating our partners as we do our students.
Aventa offers the following training options:
1. Online Instructor Training
2. Classroom Resources Training
3. Online Mentor Training
Training includes:
- Online teacher training course—includes helpful technology tips. Each trained teacher will be provided password access information. This course should be completed before course immersion
- Course immersion—Course immersion training includes reviewing the motif, course standards and activities that meet the standards, course resources, rubrics, assessments, and sample student work. Course immersion can be a one-day, face-to-face or virtual session.
- Virtual school training manual—includes online teaching strategies to reference as you gain experience.
- Course structure training—includes techniques on how to modify local template pages and add modules to the content.
- Ongoing mentoring following the training—mentoring includes six hours of email and telephone contact and scheduled teleconference calls with a master teacher during the first year of licensing.
