These students will inevitably have to take some kind of online learning when they are in college. Aventa prepares them for the kind of learning they will experience after they graduate.
To help students succeed in an online learning environment, Aventa Learning Coaches support and train on-site Mentors who are appointed by the school and provide regular, on-site support. Aventa Mentors know the students, help them stay on track, provide exam proctoring and serve as important liaisons between the online teacher and the school community.
Aventa's training and tools guide mentors through difficult periods. In fact, we have developed a set of documented processes that help hold students accountable for their work, called a Student Action Plan. Our Aventa Learning Coaches help onsite mentors, teachers and parents understand where students have fallen off course.

Definition: Students who have enrolled for more than 7 days and turned in assignments within 14 days, but a variance of 11 – 30% concerning pacing. These students hold a grade equal to or higher than 70%.
Action Plan: Every other week, the teacher will email the students and their mentors and parents (if applicable):
1 Explaining why the student is considered at risk (class grade/slow pacing),
2. Asking student for reasons why off-pace, and
3. Asking student to email a new pacing schedule to the teacher.

According to our records, while your course average is 70% or above, you are behind schedule in submitting your assignments. It is crucial for your success to log in daily and submit assignments according to your pacing schedule.
Please let your school mentor and me know if there are reasons why you are off-pace and when you plan on becoming active again. Please also send an updated pacing schedule, so we can help you get and stay on track.
