To ensure a successful Mentor program at your school, Aventa Learning by K¹² provides a comprehensive Mentor Training Program. This program trains Mentors to be effective student supporters and includes virtual Mentor Training Sessions. These sessions help new Mentors get up to speed, but also provide refresher material for current Mentors.
To access our Mentor Training, each Mentor at your school must REGISTER on our website at www.aventalearning.com/training. Registration forms must be fully completed and received by 5:00 PM (ET) the day before the training session. Once registered, the Mentor will receive access information for the upcoming training session.
Each new training session will take about two hours and will cover all of aspects of the Aventa program, including online enrollment and credit recovery courses. If necessary, your school may request follow-up time for additional training or Q&A.
