These students will inevitably have to take some kind of online learning when they are in college. Aventa prepares them for the kind of learning they will experience after they graduate.

Credit Recovery Catalog

Aventa's credit recovery program provides schools with a cost-effective, comprehensive and flexible tool to help students pass courses and get the credits they need to graduate high school.

Courses are designed for students who did not pass a course initially, but learned enough to make a complete repetition of the course unnecessary. Students can test out of the material they have already learned and focus on what they need to demonstrate achievement on essential content standards.

Licensing Credit Recovery Courseware

Our partners generally license blocks of 10 Credit Recovery seats from Aventa. To help visualize how they work (we all have different learning styles):

  • Seats last for 12 months.
  • A seat is a student enrolled in a course. When a student completes the course, the seat becomes available for another student to take any course in the Credit Recovery catalog.
  • If a school has three terms per year (e.g. two semesters and summer school), one block of ten seats can accommodate 30 students utilizing courses in a year (assuming each student requires the entire semester to complete); which works out to approximately $67 per student course enrollment.

Aventa's fee includes hosting the course on Aventa’s server (no tech support is required of you or your staff ) and we'll support for the course with a highly qualified and certified teacher of record.

* One semester (.5 credit) course
